12 squares milk chocolate
24 large soft oatmeal cookies (store-bought or made from our recipe for Oatmeal Cookies)
12 large marshmallows
Special equipment: metal skewers

1) Place 1 square chocolate on the flat side of 12 of the cookies.
2) Skewer the marshmallows, and roast them over an open flame or glowing embers, turning constantly, until they are a golden brown all over.
3) Slide a warm marshmallow onto the chocolate and top it with another cookie. Repeat. Let s’mores sit for a minute to melt chocolate, and eat.
