5) Add the flour mixture to the butter mixture 2 tablespoons at a time, mixing until blended. Pour batter into prepared pan.
6) Bake for 30 minutes and let cool completely on a wire rack. Pierce top of cake all over with the tines of a fork.
7) Combine the whole milk, evaporated milk, and condensed milk together. Stir in the cinnamon, cloves, and remaining 1 teaspoon vanilla. Pour milk mixture over the top of the cake. Refrigerate cake until picnic time.
