- 2 yellow onions, sliced into rings
- 1 tablespoon cider vinegar
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- Salt and pepper to taste

1) Melt the butter in a sauté pan over medium-low heat.

Add the apples and cook until they begin to soften, about 8 minutes, stirring frequently.

Add the onions, salt the entire dish, and sauté another 3 minutes.

Add the vinegar, sugar, and 2 tablespoons water and continue to cook, stirring constantly, until a sauce has formed and the apples and onions are very tender
