- 6 hard-boiled eggs
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise, and more as necessary
- 1 teaspoon prepared mustard
- 1 teaspoon minced onion
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh tarragon
- 2 teaspoons minced chives

1) Peel the eggs and cut each in half lengthwise.
2) Carefully scoop out the yolks and mash them in a small bowl.
3) Add to the mashed yolks the mayonnaise, mustard, onion, tarragon, and chives.
4) Stuff yolk mixture into whites. Refrigerate until ready to assemble picnic basket.
