Picnic-Basket.com Shipping Information

Picnic-Basket.com has several additional delivery options for you to choose from; Ground Delivery, Overnight Delivery, 2nd Day Air Delivery or 3-Day Express. During "Check Out" you will be asked to choose your shipping option and pricing for each option will be clearly marked. Simply choose the shipping method that suits your needs.

Picnic-Basket.com's had designed it's shipping policy to be fair to everyone and allows our customers to add additional products at a much lower price than if shipping was "built into the price". The are NO surprises when you place your order! No "hidden charges and no extra "handling" charges and no extra cost added to your shipping cost.

Some of our items have special *Free Shipping offers. Each individual item will stipulate if it has free shipping and applies to continental United States for standard ground shipping via UPS or FedEx.

The additional charges are for deliveries to the States of Florida or California where we must collect sales tax. If you live in Florida or California but are shipping to a different State then no sales tax will be collected.

Delivery time depends on which shipping option you choose and which manufactures' warehouse your item ships from. Orders take anywhere from 1 to 3 days to leave our warehouses and then, depending on where you live, an additional 1 - 5 days to arrive. Each of our products having a "Shipping" tab which when clicked on will show you a segmented map with estimated delivery times by State. If you choose either the overnight, 2nd day shipping or UPS 3-Day Express option and it is before 12pm (eastern time zone) then your order will ship the out same day from our warehouse. If it is past 12pm eastern, your order will ship out the next day.

Here are a few additional questions that may benefit you regarding our shipping policy.

Q: Can you ship to a different address?
A: Yes, When placing your order you are given the opportunity to ship to a different address. Picnic-Basket.com's website is also set-up to handle multiple ship to addresses. At checkout simply fill in the addresses where you want an item shipped. Our system will even store these addresses for you making it easy to send those on your list gifts at a later time. If you have a list of addresses and require assistance, we will be happy to assist you in placing the order. Just give us a call at 1-800-861-8823.

Q: Can you ship to a Canada?
A: Yes. However you must utilize a third party shipper for orders going out of the country. Our third party shipper is Bongo International

Q: Can you ship to a Alaska?
A: Yes. Simply choose your shipping preference at checkout.

Q: Can you ship to a Puerto Rico?
A: Yes. Simply choose your shipping preference at checkout.

Q: Can you ship to a Hawaii?
A: Yes. Simply choose your shipping preference at checkout.

Q: Do you ship internationally? Is there an additional costs?
A: International Shipping is Available! We have partnered with Bongo International to service all of our customers Worldwide. Click here for more information on Bongo and to sign up.

Q: How can I check the status of my order?
A: Once your item(s) are shipped from our warehouse, you will receive an email with a tracking number. You can then track your item by clicking on the URL enclosed in the email which will log you onto our website. Then simply check your "Order Status".

Q: Can you ship to a PO Box?
A: Yes & No. We do ship to oversea's Military APO addresses. We use either UPS or FedEx for all of our domestic shipping, neither of which can deliver to a PO Box.
