I ordered the Super Deluxe Coffee Backpack as a present to my boss for the holidays. The following day I received an email that the item was out of stock but will be delivered the second week in December. Unfortunately, being overseas I had to cancel the order because it wouldn't be here in time for the holidays. I spoke with Sam from Customer Service. He was very accommodating to my situation and cancelled my order without a problem. The following day I received an email from Sam explaining why the problem with my order occurred and he actually remedied this situation to my satisfaction.

This is the first time I have ever experienced customer service like this - I actually cancelled an order and customer service just didn't stop there - Sam kept working in order to try to find a way to get me the backpack by the holidays. Sam was a pleasure to work with, an exceptional customer rep and because of him; I established a new found loyalty to picnic-basket.com!

I purchased the Malibu Cooler set for my fiance for our anniversary. I think it was a great gift because it encourages spending time together. The next day we packed up our wine, cheese and sandwiches and tried out the set. It has everything we need and more. I am giving my brother the second set (Equinox with matching sunshine blanket) as a wedding gift. He and his bride-to-be really enjoy the outdoors and hiking. They can pack everything up and it'll all stay cool for when they are ready.

I had an issue with FedEx delivering my package to the wrong apartment- which was of NO fault of Picnic-Basket. I spoke with Sam Warren who sent out another order to me without hesitation. The customer service at Picnic-Basket is at the top of my list. With the help of Sam, my expectations were greatly exceeded. I can't wait to tell all of my friends about the site, products and service. A fully-equppied picnic basket is a great way to bring people closer together. I will definitely use Picnic-Basket in the future.
